EARLY YEARS EDUCATOR COURSES
This is a 2 hour Personal Development Course in which you will learn how to introduce basic signs with pre-verbal babies and young children. It is ideal for Educators who have a specific interest in learning to sign and who wish to expand their Personal Development repertoire.

A certificate of participation from Signing Hands will be given to each participant.
The course will cover which signs to introduce first and go through different ways to use them one on one and in group situations.
The groups of signs covered will be:
Basic needs signs–milk, eat, drink, more etc
Mealtimes & foods–fruit, veg & snacks
Nappy changing & toilet training
Animals – farm, wild, insects
Toys – indoor and outdoor play
Need, danger & Behaviour signs–gentle, stop, wait, help etc
Handouts will be provided and each participant will receive an A2 poster showing the first 20 signs for babies and young children or the Toilet Training Poster. Additional products will also be available for purchase, including flashcards, flipcharts and signing kits.
